Cincinnati Magazine "Best Of " Edition has named Signs of Life the Tribute Band of 2011. Here is what they had to say......
"A Tribute Band's work is admittedly more interpretative than creative, but done well it can also but a lot of fun. Long-time genre veteran Jon Stankorb's current project, Signs of Life, pays nearly pitch perfect homage to Pink Floyd. If you squint a little, Stankorb looks vaguely like David Gilmour. More to the point: If you close your eyes (though we don't recommend it: you would miss the spectacular light show), your ears might tell you that it's 1979.

A Signs of Life: The Essence of Pink Floyd concert captures the mood, emotion, and excitement of a Pink Floyd Show. 6 multi-talented musicians and 2 dynamic female vocalists, 4 lighting, video and audio technicians that are dedicated to reproducing the vast and spacious Pink Floyd "essence" - arguably one of the most musically accurate Pink Floyd Tribute concerts anywhere. Every Signs of Life show utilizes authentic sound effects, engaging video and dynamic lighting effects to recreate the classic Pink Floyd feel. Each show features well-known Floyd favorites in addition to lesser known gems - our extensive set list includes selections from every Floyd album ever produced. "In the realm of 'Tribute Bands', those those who line up to play Beatles, Queen and Jimmy Buffet songs are a dime a dozen. Signs of Life is not one of those bands. After 2 years playing shows to packed houses in the Queen City, they've managed to impress the legions of Pink Floyd fans who are known to be sticklers for accuracy. Other Pink Floyd Tribute bands tend to treat the Pink Floyd material with an American rock n roll style....walking to the edge of the stage and throwing their heads back in mock ecstasy. It loses some of the British restraint and sophistication. According to Stankorb, "we don't want to call attention to ourselves, we want the music and stage show to speak for itself".
